 Prompt Response: After viewing my classmates’ presentations, I found the LGBTQ community the most interesting. I learned more about their experiences, challenges, and how they express their identities. This presentation helped me understand the importance of acceptance and respect. It also deepened my awareness of how society can impact their lives in both positive and negative ways.

  Prompt Response:   My teacher once unexpectedly shared a story about her father dying from stage 4 cancer, and it really stayed with me. Hearing it made me feel deeply sad, not only because of the loss itself but because I could sense how much it must have hurt her. I remember wondering how she managed to carry that pain while still showing up for us with patience, strength, and encouragement every day. Her ability to keep moving forward and still support her students showed me what resilience and dedication truly look like. Summary:  Today in class we continued reading The Color Purple and answering questions on Writable. Reflection:  I got better reading comprehension and analysis skills.
