Prompt: As we move toward the end of the semester, what are your top three college choices right now? Identify the colleges and explain why you are attracted to each one. Even if college is not currently on your radar, you must still respond to the question and explain your thinking.

 As of the moment college isn't on my radar I am most interested in a trade school or technical school. A school I've been keeping an eye on is the Georgia Trade School. I am attracted to this one specifically since it has plumbing which is the career I am after. It is also based in Georgia which allows me to stay with family while chasing after my dream. Georgia Piedmont Technical is my 2nd choice it basically has all my needs but I feel like Georgia Trade School has a higher rating. At the moment these are my thoughts about college.

  Prompt Response:   My teacher once unexpectedly shared a story about her father dying from stage 4 cancer, and it really stayed with me. Hearing it made me feel deeply sad, not only because of the loss itself but because I could sense how much it must have hurt her. I remember wondering how she managed to carry that pain while still showing up for us with patience, strength, and encouragement every day. Her ability to keep moving forward and still support her students showed me what resilience and dedication truly look like. Summary:  Today in class we continued reading The Color Purple and answering questions on Writable. Reflection:  I got better reading comprehension and analysis skills.

    Prompt Response:   My 9th-grade biology teacher influenced me by making the subject clear and approachable. The easy-to-follow notes we took in class helped me truly understand the material instead of just memorizing it. She consistently encouraged me to do my best, reminding me that I was capable of more than I realized. That encouragement has stayed with me, and I still carry her message of always striving to do my best today.
