 Prompt Response: While completing the simile and metaphor worksheet, the topic that challenged me the most was appearance. It was especially difficult for me because I don’t always like the way I look, so writing about it made me feel uncomfortable and more self-aware. Trying to turn those feelings into similes and metaphors forced me to think more deeply about how I see myself. Even though it was hard, it helped me realize that my appearance doesn’t define my worth and that I can choose to describe myself in a more positive and understanding way.
